Scrabble Best Move Finder
Finds the best possible move for any scrabble position in English, Danish, German, Norwegian, Polish or Romanian. Click the 15×15 board — with all the standard premium squares in place — and type the tiles that are already down, enter your rack (use ? for a blank), and the finder searches every legal placement in the word list: every row, every column, every anchor square, with every cross-word checked against the dictionary. Moves are scored exactly like the real game — each language uses its own official tile values, double and triple letter and word squares count only under newly placed tiles, cross-words score too, and using all seven tiles earns the 50-point bingo bonus. The top twenty moves appear in a table; click any row to preview the placement on the board before you commit to it.

Notes
- The English dictionary is the ENABLE list (~173,000 words), the public word list on which most word games are based. German uses a CC0 community word list (~590,000 forms), Norwegian the free NSF word list from the Norwegian Scrabble federation (~790,000 forms), Polish the open SJP.PL game dictionary, Romanian the official LOC 5.0 tournament list (~610,000 forms, played without diacritics) and Danish the CC0 COR register built from Retskrivningsordbogen (~340,000 forms). A specific club or app may accept slightly different words.
- For performance, the Polish list is limited to words of up to 9 letters (~760,000 forms) — long enough for any pure-rack play plus common hooks.
- Scoring follows standard rules: premium squares multiply only tiles placed this turn, every perpendicular word formed must be valid and is scored as well, and a seven-tile play adds the 50-point bingo.
- Blanks score zero points: type a lowercase letter for a blank already on the board and use ? for a blank on your rack — the finder decides which letter the blank should stand for.
- On an empty board the first move must cover the center star, which doubles the word — the finder enforces this automatically.
