Dynamic Weight Change Simulator
Projects how your weight actually changes on a given calorie intake, day by day, using a dynamic energy balance model: your resting metabolism is recomputed as you gain or lose, metabolic adaptation slows the burn, and the Forbes curve splits each change between fat and lean tissue. The result is compared against the naive "3500 kcal = 1 lb forever" rule so you can see why real weight loss plateaus.

Notes
- This is a model, not a prescription: it assumes a fixed daily intake and average tissue energy densities (~9440 kcal/kg fat, ~1820 kcal/kg lean). Real bodies vary and appetite, water and adherence all move the number.
- Metabolic adaptation is the reason a fixed calorie intake stops producing loss: as you get lighter your maintenance calories fall until they meet your intake and the weight plateaus — the naive 3500-kcal rule never plateaus.
