Word Cloud Generator

Turn any text into a word cloud: paste an article, a speech, lyrics, reviews, survey answers or a "word, weight" list, and the most frequent words grow into a dense, collision-free layout that redraws as you type. Stop words are removed automatically in English, German, French, Spanish, Italian, Portuguese, Dutch and Hungarian, and you can merge plurals, keep two-word phrases, ignore numbers and short words, or knock out any word with a click. Pack the words into a circle, heart, star, speech bubble, typed letters or your own silhouette image; choose how words rotate, how frequency maps to size, sixteen fonts, fifteen colour palettes or your own, backgrounds, outlines and shadows; then export a print-ready PNG (up to 4×), JPEG, an SVG with editable text, or the counted word list as CSV. A seed number and share link recreate the exact same layout later.

Notes

  • Words are placed with a spiral search on a bit-packed occupancy map — the same idea behind the classic Wordle layout — so no two words ever overlap, and shapes are simply areas the search may not enter.
  • Stop-word lists are the most frequent function words of each language; the language is guessed from how many of them appear in your text, so mixed-language text may want a manual choice.
  • Auto-fit re-runs the layout at a few font scales until nearly every word fits and the shape is well filled; with many words or a big canvas this can take a second or two.
  • SVG export keeps every word as real text in the chosen font family, so it stays editable — but the viewer needs that font installed to render it identically.
  • Runs 100% in your browser — nothing you paste leaves your device.
