Stylometry & Authorship Comparator
Compares the writing style of two texts with Burrows' Delta, the standard first tool of computational authorship attribution. The method ignores topic words entirely and looks at how often each text uses the most common function words — the, of, and, to, that — choices authors make unconsciously and find hard to fake. The distance between the two style profiles is then compared against how much each text varies internally, giving a same-author / different-author verdict with the numbers behind it.

Notes
- Burrows' Delta (2002) measures the average difference in standardized frequencies of the most frequent words; it remains the baseline method in stylometry research.
- The verdict compares the A↔B distance with each text's internal half-vs-half distance — if A differs from B no more than A differs from itself, the styles are indistinguishable.
- Stylometry is statistics: below roughly 1,500 words per text the profiles get noisy, and translation, heavy editing or genre shifts can mask or mimic an author.
